A mechnical thermostat is a switch elmo... It switches power on and off
its amps that matter and the b&q one is ok
Don't get an electronic one.. For obvious reasons.
when you buy one use the wiring diagram they give you to wire it up to power
then put the propex wires in and test it

that one say's electronic, so might need 240v to work. honeywell is the safest bet, 100% will work http://www.uk-plumbing.com/Honeywell-T6 ... googlebase.
i think you need someone to help you with this though

    Elmo whereabouts are you?

Go to your 'User control Panel' then 'Profile' and fill in your location. It will then show under your name on EVERY post

That way people know where you are and may be near enough to come and help you.

no problem, size of gas bottle dictates how long you can run them obviously
