Westy Interior

Post by looking4aT25 »

Can any one help... we are considering buying a westy, but it needs a bit of work on the interior, are they easy to revamp and where is the best place to buy new cupboards doors etc trying to keep it original. I have looked on ebay but did not really see any. We have not got the van yet just trying price things up before we go for it! cheers

hi ,

you can find bits or complete interiors but all go for big big bucks . the samba is a good site but anything thats cheap is in the states. so more hassle than its worth. if you want a good complete interior over here in germany you'll pay about 1000 euros and theres still no guarentee the fridge and cooker will work. hope this helps ,good luck. mel.

Hi,

To get new original westy stuff you need to look at Gunzl in Germany here:

http://www.vwbusshop.de/

He will send stuff to the UK if you send an email with what you want he will send you an invoice with the Euro price including postage (takes Paypal too but charges 4% extra).

For second hand stuff you can try Franks VW Parts at:
http://www.vwbusparts.freeserve.co.uk/index.html

Other than that its a case of looking on ebay, forums such as this and Brickyard and going to shows like Vanfest and sometimes you can get lucky (with the parts I mean)!

Cheers,
Dave

What (exactly) do you need and what colours?

I have some Westy interior cupboards I am willing to split.
