smell

just bought a air cooled t25 2litre ..and getting a strang smell like burning ...only when i open window when driving.got idea its heat exchangers...can someone help .thanks.

Welcome to the forum, fill your profile in so's we know where abouts you are and we may be able to recommend someone close to you to help you.

The aircold engine leaks oil onto heat exchangers which get hot, oil then smokes and stinks ... hopefully it doesn't then catch fire ... hopefully.
