H i have tried to fit a new throttle cable this morning to my 2.0l Aircooled moonraker, but the rear conduit it passes through over the engine is rusted solidand has snapped, it looks just like a large curtain wire ,but is obviousley heat proof, i really need the bus for work monday morning as she is my every day drive, has any one got any suggestions about what i could do, i have tried all the local motor factors that were open, VW dealer in colchester's parts dept are shut( thats if they still do the part)
