The only reason I ran two cables to the fuse board is that mine has two banks of fuses. So each bank has it's own feed.

I'll take a pic for you, it'll all be clear then.
Hi Al,
Any chance of a pic? Also i've just got hold of a battery charger/powerpack with 3 outputs, i'm presuming i could put the leisure battery output into the gold distribution block, instead of straight to the battery?
Trying to think of something i can use the 3rd output for?

Yeah, i don't see why you couldn't do that. That's the handy thing about having the distro block, it gives you multiple ways of connecting things to the battery without having loads of wires crammed onto the battery terminal.

As it turns out i'm going to remove seperate the two halves of my fuseboard and use one side of it as an "ignition live" bank running from the boosted side of my Sterling charger. (thanks for the tip SyncroSimon!) This means i'll have a regulated +14V supply to one side of my fuseboard so i can run things such as my headlights from it.

Cant get you a pic right now as im away working, (sorry i forgot i said id take one for you) ..

No worries on the pic.
Got a lot to learn on my 12v stuff, lucky i haven't got all the stuff yet, as i'm finding things out every day! Think i'll have to draw a plan where i want stuff, then work out cable sizes, whether to have a fuse board in front and back, ect, ect
Is your sterling alt to batt or batt to batt?
I've just bought a sterling mains charger

Mine is an alternator to battery charger, hence its got the amplified - regulated circuit for the leisure battery side of things.
Cant fault Sterling kit in my experience, good choice on the charger.

I would strongly recommend trying to plan it all out as much as you can before you do anything. and when you do your planning, make sure you build in ways of expanding it easily. Its so much easier to add on extras later if there's already room for expansion.
