hi-
my speedo started to read 0 on sunday, noticed on the trip down to dubfreeze. no bouncy needle symptoms, just never made it past 0 from the off. what a funny feeling
anyway- can i assume that when i (a friend) turns the cable with fingers at the hub end (have removed greasecap/circlip), i should be seeing the other end (square section cable by the looks of it inside the white push on fitting on back of speedo) turn by the same amount?
cause it doesnt turn right now, so im assuming its broken somewhere along the line... seems like a fair test right??
thanks!
speedo cable check..

Re: speedo cable check..
Or have you depressed the trip button in the middle of the speedo lens recently? Once I did not push it down fully and it effectively disengaged the speedo. Pressed it right down and then it was fine again.
