Changing and position of fuses

Post by tomsneade »

Hi people, I have just failed MOT because (amongst other things ) the near and off side "position lamps" are not working. Could anyone please tell the positioning of the appropriate fuse(s) and how to remove them (cos I cant get my hand into the space under the glove compartment! (assuming thats where they are located) Many thanks!

This link shows both the early and late fusebox circuit number designations. Not sure what you mean by 'position lights'.................parking lights? (aka side lights?)

The front of the late fusebox swings downwards and off so you can access the fuses - just pull 'em out with your fingers

You bend the plastic hooks/catches at the rear of the glovebox inward and the contents are then deposited on the floor - you then have access!

I don't have to go to all that trouble - I just remove the fusebox cover. Have you got grizzly bear hands?

If you buy one of these ... Image you can easily extract and test the later blade type of fuse.

But why do I always swear when I know it's going to happen?
