The heater plug wiring has gone all strange on me. ive got no light on the dash and no power at heater plugs on engine so i took the wire off and put a lenth of cable to the batt with a crocidle clip to get it started but since the heater plug light started to come on on the dash. I thought i had got it wet and it had dried out and was away again. untaped the cable and put it back onto the heater plugs on engine and it wont work, take it off and the light works on the dash and ive got power at engine end.
Any ideas where i can look, im running back on a bit of cable and a crocodle clip to the batt when i need to turn heater plugs on
If it makes any odds ive also a lose conection in the plug the feeds the dash (under rev counter) could this be conected?

Er...ask in Tech Q&A under Electrical maybe? It's hardly syncro specific...
