As of tomorrow I will be one of you!

Post by chuckle-bus-tom »

Going to Devon tomorrow to pick up a 1991 Swedish syncro doka!

It's to be used mainly as my new work vehicle in my new gardening business, but once I settle into a work pattern I hope to do some green laning! It's a 2.1 petrol, with a rear diff and a nice simple interior layout. I mainly wanted to have the increased load baring, and also it's my company so I may as well drive what I want to!

I'll stick some pics up after the weekend, and send my application to syncronauts!!

Is it a good idea to become one of us ...... ? A Syncro will empty your wallet quicker than your missus!

Hopefully, after a years search I've found one that'll work for a good while! Plus, as a work vehicle in central London I shall avoid Jed levels of trinketing!

An epic weekend journey ending in me owning an awesome van! We even managed to fit in a late afternoon surf in a beautiful sunset.

Huge thanks to samk for driving and for not killing me when I dented the front of his van with a surfboard I swear I'll pay for it to be put right mate!

Good to meet you both in passing on way to collection. Sounds like the van turned out ok and you had a good weekend and got in for a late surf to top it all.

If you need anything then give us a call and keep in contact.
