Airtronic problem

Post by ninja.turtle007 »

I have an Airtronic D2. It has been working fine but now only seems to work in ventilation mode. It will sometimes work in heat mode if I cut and then reconnect the main power to it. Also when it does work the thermostat always seems to be on full heat no matter where the dial is set.

Any ideas please.

Is it an EX BT one?

Try bridging the yellow and red wires behind the controller. Let us know if that works

Although it does have a yellow wire that goes to the connector block and a spur from it that is loose. If i touch this to the red the heater then works. So I believe you may be right. Will double check and report back.

Does it have an external Thermostat?

Is it a D2 or a D2L ?

Ok, touching the yellow to red doesn't make a difference.

It's a D2.
