Afternoon folks hope all are well....
Now then my 1.9DG has started belching out white smoke when she starts once it gets warm no smoke now I know all cars etc get a bit of steam on a cold morning et c but this seems a bit more than morning steam? any ideas water level is fine etc

White smoke generally points to burnt water. However, steering away from the nasty head gasket scenario it could just be burnt condensation that has been drawn up the exhaust overnight. I also run a 1.9dg and have the same problem when the engine has been left for a while. Also the damper the morning the larger the amount of smoke. During this milder spell I have noticed there is less smoke on start up.

ye ive been noticing more white smoke now its mild but as said as soon as it warms up smoke goes
