turn indicator flash?

Post by kiwirob »

Hi All
I have a problem with my turn indicator flashing leds on the dash.
Indicators work ok ( and stalk returns after turning)and the audible warning can be heard to click..from the relay unit..but
But there is no flashing warning light on the dash. I've checked fuses and seems good.I've taken the pcb off ( had also to bodge tracks leading to multiplug fitting...corroded) and moved around the other leds and they seem to work...so completely stumped.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Hello,

is the led itself working? Not sure what you meant by moved around. PCB seems the likely culprit, but if you've sorted it, then there's a connection in the relay plate which connects to the flasher relay - the blue and red wire goes to the pcb. You could test using a multimeter whether the pin socket from the relay (labelled pin 49a on flasher relay I think) and pin 10 on the pcb multiconnector are connected together - they should be.
