Gunsens Powerstrobe

My mate has a Gunsons Powerstrobe. It has a mains plug and the spiral connection for the plugs. I was going to advertise it on here for him but want to check it's ok first. Long time since I used one Can I test it on electronic ignition system?

I've got a basic gunson strobe with a +ve & -ve battery lead and the sprial connector for the plugs, thats fine for electronic ignition as all it does is picks up the electrical current going to the plug, presumably the one you have does the same job, just thats its mains powered?...

Thanks for that. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Just don't want to mess sending something to someone that doesn't work!
