Help with this coolant pipe

Post by bmouthboyo »

Hi,

Does anyone know what the part no, name etc of this part is? Needs replacing or swapping for something suitable.

It is fitted on a Golf mk1 DX engine in my camper. It is not a standard DX engine part and so must have been sourced for the engine conversion. I was thinking maybe it is from the old engine the van had (1.6 Diesel) or a bespoke part.

Any ides? It's rusted on the smaller section that is on the side.

Thanks

that factory original pipe on the diesel is made of rubber, so this is a bit of a bodge job , also in the golf its rubber.

this is the original t25 part you need , but may need some mods to fit to your engine which you wont know until you try to fit it.
