Tailgate Seal help

Post by tabbytiger23 »

Hello

I recently bought a new tailgate seal, but im not sure which way it goes on, i have tried, but can not seem to shut the back door properly, i did put it on the way the old one was, but im not too sure if that was even on right as the back door was really hard to shut. (shuts fine with no seal)
I wondered if anyone might have a nice clear picture of there seal on the van, that they could post for me?

Thankyou

I saw weird stuff in that place last night. Weird, strange, sick, twisted, eerie, godless, evil stuff... and I want in.

could tyry adjusting the latch to make it shut easier and if this works then keep moving in a bit till it will just shut, then note from the gaps how far more you need to go, might settle in a bit over a few days etc

Still not joy with the seal Tabby?

Justkampers charge £65 smackers for the seal as well

If anyone comes across this topic in the future then get one from AH Schofields for £35. Mine fit perfectly, no faffing with catch required.

Hello,

I bought a tailgate seal from JustKampers and although it was advertised as for the T25 it's actually a T4 seal. I cut mine to size so can't send it back and obviously feel a bit stupid, but have left it - it's just tough to press the button to open the tailgate now.

Hopefully you should be able to send it back and get the proper seal from where Cruz suggested (wish I'd seen that before )

Hope you get it sorted

Ewen

Perfectly timed! Hopefully, a new seal will help prevent the drippy-drippy that made my toes a bit cold & damp on Saturday morning...
