hesitation puling away
have to give a few revs as I pull away and as I'm driving the van feels a bit 'lumpy' on a constant throttle, checked most things and noticed that the gasket between the float chamber and top of the carbie is split right on the right hand edge as you look down on the carbie, would this be sucking air in even though the top body is screwed tight and can the gaskets be bought??,that is the only obvious thing I can see wrong, thanks

Re: hesitation puling away
It would almost certainly be the cause of your problem
I believe gasket sets can be bought at brickwerks and I think GSF
