Never tried it yet but kathyshack has been to a nice site in Chipping near Preston. Basically though the whole of the Dales and the Lakes are on my doorstep, well they are to me

I particularly like the look of the nearby Wild Boar Park too and a walk up nearby Parlick is a must on a clear day for views of the Forest of Bowland, Yorks Dales, Lakes, Blackpool tower etc etc

Two pubs in chipping village too
