material for interior- door cards etc

Post by yorkierob »

I'm struggling to find a supplier for material to cover my door cards and maybe also the headliner (rather than try to paint it!) I've checked on the net but all I can find is acoustic carpeting which is 20 poundfor a 2mx1m piece!
any suggestions??
Before I've finished one job I'm planning the next!

Depending on what sort of stuff/look you are after try dunelm mill, they have loads of different fabrics/materials to choose from.
I'm using leatherette for my door cards etc at £6.99 per metre (137cm wide).
Its good quality thick stuff and give a luxurious look.
They have an online store but in store you can see it up close. They have a branch in sunderland
