Hi,
Has anyone fitted a Caravanstore awning onto a Westy pop top before? I have heard that the bag that holds the awning gets in the way of the sliding door. I'm also aware that an awning rail needs to be fitted to the van, would this get in the way of the roof bar bracket plates that sit in the rain gutter?
I only ask because the Caravanstore awning are so much cheaper than the metal encased wind out ones such as the f45, and in these times of austerity budget is a major concern.
Thanks in advance.
Matt

if you buy the gutter mount brackets for the F35 and fit a suitable length of metal to them and fit the awning rail to that then you can raise it up enough to clear the door and give some headroom, but I'd consider the F35 rather than the 45
F35 is like a cravanstore but in a ali box

F35 is the one I have on mine - looked at the Caravanstore one but thought it would be a lot of hassel to fix re the rail.
