T25 Awnings?......

Syncro Up - it's great to see a photo of how the awning actually works in 'real life' thanks for posting it - lamp is great!!

Here's ours in use, any of the three doors can be propped up to make a sun shade or rolled up out of the way. The two side doors also have a fly net, which can be zipped up or down. There are also windows with curtains at the front and sides.

We find it very light and airy, versatile with some good design features and it takes about 20 mins to put up in good weather.



The picnic bench also wasn't included.

good point.... I think mainly we'd use it as an extension to the camper - roll up the front and sit out if the sun shines and also want it to be a nice place to shelter from the inevitable rain!

... sleeping pods are not a necessity ... I may be talking myself into the Royal Traveller 111!!

A bit different, but given your requirements (sun shelter, rain shelter, no sleeping pods) have you considered a Fiamma type pull out canopy http://www.agentfiamma.co.uk/erol.html#2509X0.

They are also very popular amongst members (either the Caravna store or F35), very robust and extremely easy to 'pitch' - five minutes tops without any assistance. I've got an F35 and reckon its the second best thing I've boght for the van (the first was the new seats!)

Only downside is they are eyewateringly expensive, but you do get a solid product for the money....

We've got one and it is ace. Used it with little tents as a porch when we were van-less too. Bugger to fold the first time mind.

We found it very hard to achieve the round shape at first. The bag has also shrunk and definately won't do back up.

Practise at home first is essential. It's easy when you know how.

As long as you start wit meat and 2 veg you will be cool. Love ours, but love my new Kyham that came today even more. VERY excited. Had it up in the sitting room already!

Hi all,
We bought an Outwell Country Roads awning from justkampers last summer and it's ok. lots of room and light and airy. It takes a bit of time to set it up but, it managed it stayed up through one or two really blowey nights and it makes life a lot easier when it's wet outside. Its worth getting hold of the wind breaker skirt that fits between the wheels to stop drafts from blowing under the van and into the awning. (It also helps keep the dog in too.)

We also carry a pop-up tent which is fine for one night stops or for late arrivals when for whatever reason you need to have the storeage space but cant be bothered with the awning until morning. Our was from decathlon and, as its flat when packed up, we just bung it up in to the hightop and pile our other gear on top. That takes just seconds to pop up and a couple on minutes to peg it down.

Whatever you choose, I think you will enjoy the extra benifits you get from having the additional space.

I've been looking at the Navigator Kombi as it runs parallel to the van instead of at right angles - might be easier to squeeze into smaller pitches? Need an internal tent for little ones to sleep in............

Around £280 though - anyone seen anything similar but cheaper?

That looks good value in the sale, I like all the windows in it. You'll have to do a review once you've used it.
