I'm sure I've seen a thread on this somewhere, but I can't remember where.
I'm looking for info on fitting a Westy Pop or Hitop to a Caravelle. I know the westy roof is cut back further than you would when fitting a top to a caravelle. I just wondered how this would work the the rear roof section being curved unlike on a westy.
Thanks

Re: Fitting Westy poptop or Hitop
The people that bought our westy poptop fitted it to a tin top. I think they cut the whole between the B and C post and built a platform on the rear of the metal roof for the bed.

Best way is to graft the westy roof pressing into the caravelle
normally a few on ebay, like this (but better nick) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Westfalia-pop-up- ... 27b81da512
If you sit it on a caravelle roof you'll end up with not a lot of space at the back of the elevating part
Have you bought a caravelle?
