50amp glow plug fuse

hello all. just wondering if anybody can offer me some advice.

the 50 amp glow plug fuse on my 1986 1600 watercooled td blew. i changed the fuse, but it blew again whilst the engine was running.

Does anybody have an idea what might be causing this?

Any pointers and checks i should go through would be very much appreciated.

Basically you have a short circuit somewhere in that circuit - check that the busbar connecting the plugs hasn't been bent and is touching some metal.
