Replacing coolant pipe

Post by jswagger »

Hi,

Whilst grovelling around my 1988 1.9DG trying to sort out the oil pressure wiring I noticed that I need to change the pipe that runs from the bottom of the thermostat to the coolant distributer(?).

Any ideas on where to get the pipe? I have tried my local VW van centre and no joy.

Also any tips on how to get the pipe off at the distributer end as access look skind of tight/blind!

Thanks

Thanks, sorry about missing the engine type. It's a 1988 1.9DG.

I think it is F in the link, cheers for the heads up.
