Post by fairwynds »

Hi
Id like to buy one of those wind out awnings for my RHD, left side slider T25 hitop camper.
Can anyone advise the best place to (mail order?) obtain a new one, or does anyone have a vgc one for sale?
Thanks alot.

I have just had a 3m F45ti from Agent Fiamma (TA Camperlands) cost £395 delivered. If you order before 12 lunch it will arrive AM next day (well packaged).
Good service and the price was okay too.

try http://www.worldofcamping.co.uk say you are a club80-90 member and politely ask for the club discount

There is a thread in Members Only that mentions it. They were the cheapest last summer for a F45 awning. Delivery was free too and quick.

The company is run or partly run by a very early 80-90 member Dan so it it good to support like minded folks.

Unfortunately they are unable to offer discount on Fiamma items as their mark up is so low (thats what they told me anyhow). They are the cheapest on the net so this seems quite fair.

They shall be getting my pounds when i can afford it

If you want to have it braced back against the van rather than on the ground you need a shortish one ... could be wrong but 2.5 mtr ? Check with Jed the Spread

I managed to get a 2nd hand 2.5m ZIP one in great condition for only £150 off the Brick yard. They do come up if you bide your time and keep your eyes open.

Surpisingly I don't use it as often as I thought I would
