Seat Removal...

Post by Iceworx »

I've run out of light now, but Im having some difficulties in removing the front seats.

Im just wanting to whip them out to give them a full clean up, and also offer up the new Saab seats, to check clearance against the steering wheel... as im 6' 6".

I cant see an obvious way of removing them.

What am I missing?

Pull them all the way forward to the stop.
Then search around the hinge area (where the upright back meets the seat swab) for a tiny little lever.(As far as I remember it's on one side only so try both sides) This needs to be pulled/pushed/pressed (can't remember which) and then the seat moves past the stop and just slides out of the runners ...really, really simple when you know how.

Aha! Fantastic. I'll have a nosey tomorrow, as no chance of seeing it in such dark tonight.

Thanks.
