I'm posting this so i can have a metaphorical pat on the bac

Post by lloydy »

Thought i'd test the diff lock this evening, tend to do it once a week, didn't come on (always has before) Bugger!
Followed the trouble shooting guide, found a slpit hose by the non return valve, cut shorter, reconnected, tested, all working
First fault i've diagnosed and fixed. Feel like a real man now, even starting to get ingrained dirt around my cuticles

Your syncro also hasn't been off the road and in bits the longest either - well done, but there's time
I wonder who's has been dismantled the longest?

Got mine last January and still in bits...though I'm almost there.

I'll be done once Gearbox and diffs are done in February....fingers crossed.

Don't know where that is on the scale?

Good work. You'll be happy to find there's always something you can do on a syncro to make you feel manly. I'll dob myself in for having my syncro up on ramps the longest. She went into the garage about 2 weeks after I bought her having only done 200kms in that time. Was wrenching on it most weekends for 2 years until it was driveable.
