Camping on the Gower

Post by 8673sharp »

Just a few snaps of a couple of days we spent down on the Gower in April 2009. It was our first time there and we have been there a couple of times since!

Aah! Sunnier days

Is that Shell island? If so we we've been on that beach a few times, the most impressive was in April 2008 it was sunny, then it snowed, it was amazing, the mountains looked fantastic covered in snow. I hope you enjoy our pics. (Not sure what happened to the horizon, perhaps the tide was coming in)

Looks lovely but we were at the gower, south of swansea near the wormshead, the campsite is just behind the sand dunes.

Ooops, either I can't read or i'm just stupid , My mind was taken with your pics, it looks lovely and just the same. My pics were taken on the other side of the shell island, not the big sandy beach side. We'll have to visit yours, now where's my map.

Thats right Boris, the campsite is called Hillend. Really nice but busy in the high season.
