aye!
also,
comfort, heater, windscreen wipers that work, adaptability (your Doka can be a camper too), no stupid masseeve bonnet, not soggy inside, standard Doka drops on 3 side landy doesnt ( landy isnt really a double cab pickup really, just a landy with the boot space outside - and thats small / mishapen). better in ice and snow (i reckon) list goes on - im a reccent convert. ( i had mine built by Foley's and im still happier with the syncro)

E D I T;
huge storage lockers as standard and another big one under bench seat too...( areal plus if your considering it as a work van )

Well rumor has it defenders have lots of mechanical issues. Would be good if someone in the know could shine some light here because I steered clear of buying a defender myself a couple years back.

Oh and my unbiased opinion is to buy a syncro. They're perfect in every way

Skip the Donka and get a Panel van. Camping in a crew van? Well I know Axeman does having applyied a bit of enginuity, but I'd rather have the versatility of the secure volume inside, not out in the weather. Vindics are too easy to break into, unless you get/build a metal Nato cover.
But then it's just like a less versatile van
Unless of course you really need a pickup for work.
