Sure we all know plastic pipes are better. Inert and light! Not so cool though as stainless ones!

A lot of fuss about nothing.
Keep your coolant fresh and no probs.
They are mounted on rubber at either end, the stainless doesn't touch any part of the aluminium.
If your anal then wrap the pipes where they touch the body with rubber also.
Tell me, really, what will fail? a head stud? they do that on their own, a cylinder head mating surface will get pitted, er....

How long will all this take? 10 minutes? 10 years? 100 years? who knows.

I have just fitted a Stainless pipe, seen this so was about to dig out the old one out of the scrap bin to re-fit it.
