syncro flexi clutch pipe?

Are thet the same as 2wd? got a standard one from jk and it seems to be about 2 inch shorter than where the brakets are i can just gain a couple of in by straightening a corner or two but id rather not have to, dont like pipes being under tension, just asking for the inevitable

Im a bit pevved cause i asked jk when i ordered it and was told there the same

Brickwerks lists 4 different ones so it looks like JK are wrong (once again). Syncro ones are different for petrol or diesel accoring to Mr Baxter's shop.

Personally I make that my 1st port of call for parts & reference, rather than JK; similar threads regarding "I bought this from JK and it doesn't fit.." crop up all too often.

Yep, they are different, the short one that goes from the chassis to the small bracket on the side of the box is longer on a syncro.

As noted there are 4 variants of clutch pipe.

T3 2WD early (also used on late westys)
T3 2WD late (white nylon item)
T3 4WD petrol
T3 4WD Diesel.

We have all variants on the shop in stainless steel braided hose.
They have a stupid thread, m12x1 which limits the places where you can buy the fittings hence the price of them, I probably don't buy from the best place regards price but they are the only people I know that have the correct ends.

cheers for that, going to but old one back on for now, till i save some pennies, cheaper than some they may be but the level of dervice from jk isnt the same as most places, pay peanuts and get monkeys n all that

If you have a place nearby that makes hydraulic hose, just take your old one along and get them to put the original ends on a new stainless braided pipe for you.

Probably cost less than the part from JK....

ive moved the brakets and made a new solid line from the flexi to the slave cylinder now, seemed to easy way out

I don't think the design of the original hose would allow this.
Plus, when I've spoken to the hydraulic places around here they are reluctant to use old ends.
Maybe different down your way?

Oh yerp, different down yer!

Farmers u'd be up in aaams if ey couldne bodge the tratters.

I went all over the place trying to get the fittings, even went to the Goodrich head office in Exeter who said " That must be some weird German fitting, we don't stock anything like that"

In the end i went to HEL, they were kind enough to put the original ends on a new braided hose while i waited. £15 for cash iirc.
