Help, Eberspacher....

Post by mclarni »

Hi guys,

I've recently got an eberspacher D1LC 12v heater for the bus.

I have bench tested it before installing it and have got two problems:

1. The fan doesn't spin. (Does spin freely by hand)

2. The fuel pump isn't ticking.

It is a fairly modern unit with an ECU. Does anyone here know much about these units or does anyone know a good place to get it serviced / repaired?

Thanks

Nick

Got it all sorted now. Turned out to be a wiring problem. The switch was all wired up incorrectly. Should have checked all the wiring before I tried it.

I now have a fully operational heater. Just got to install it now.

Cheers

Nick
