bus wont start

hello all, just dropped a new battery on thinkin it was that and its a no go it makes a click but thats it, do you think it could be starter motor ? any advice welcome

As said check the spade connection on the soleniod, if it's ok try giving the soleniod a few heavy taps with a hammer or something then try starting it. If it goes then its sticking and means a new starter wanted as it will stick again.

yes there's an earth fault or connection problem some where.
pull off the connectors and clean them up.. till they shine

This recent weather has helped all that corrosion along to break circuits

check the condition of the braided lead on the back of the starter which connects the solenoid to the starter and the earth strap between the gear box and chassis

try hitting the solenoid with a hammer, this will usually dislodge it temporarily if its sticking
