Hi, thank for reply, its a D1Lc. Those two plugs both come off the back of the stat. I was thinking maybe one of them would go to a timer? and the rest maybe for sensors i'm not using?
And will hopefully be able to leave them as is, probably wishful thinking
And put some shoes on!

After perusing several diagrams the best that I can suggest is that the black connector containing the blue wire would go to a timer (but the yellow wire should be in the connector also). The other one appears to be for providing power to the heater when the ignition is turned off.(That's assuming that it has been wired up in the conventional way - but most people wire them up so that they run from the leisure battery anyway)
So basically you should be able to function as is.
Just test it on the bench - it should work albeit without a timer function.
