dash lights order....

i cant work out if my dash lights are lighting up and going out in the right order -
when ignition turned on - but engine not started -
familiarity breeds ignorance!
4 red lights come on -
handbrake cable - solid square red light - goes off when handbrake released -
coolant/temperature light comes on - on clock face with theremometer icon -
blinks away - then goes out - on its own -
oil light with an oil can icon blinks away -
battery light - errr... a battery icon - stays solid -
when engine started - both oil and battery light go off -

does this sound about right?

just cant remember if the oil light stayed on solid (not blinking) before it went off when engine turned over -

if anyone can confirm or otherwise - be much appreciated -
(and one lesss anxiety off the list!) -
