propex

Post by nedkelly113 »

Hi
Could anyone tell me if a propex heater can be connected to the existing air duct under the floor pan so it blows the windscreen?
I,ve got an '81 a/c.
Thanks

Yes I think it can.
But if there's any resistance or back pressure, propex will stop.

Thanks Kev
I was thinking of taking an elbow out from under the back seat storage and joining the original ducting under the floor pan and hopefully doing the windscreen and cab. I think i'l try to pick up a propex and give it a go.
Thanks

Thanks jason

got in touch with steve at gasure, very helpful bloke.
Ordering a propex and the kit to plumb into the existing vent for £480. said i might need to buy a blower from bluebird (£99) but might get away with just the propex. I'll give it a try anyway.
Thanks for the great info as always.

Hi
I have now purchased a propex and a V2 kit from gasure. Just wondering which way to point the air inlet? Diagram shows it facing directly forward of the van but was wondering if this would blow it out/stop it working?
P.S. Any one fitted a v2 kit before? Seems to suggest that the controlable vent has to be fitted in the dash. Was thinking about putting it in the middle where the old speaker holes are.
Any advice gratefully received as always!
Thanks
