new door cards

Post by scottbott »

am making new door cards as the old ones were damp at the bottom, also fitting slightly larger speakers, could not believe how much noisier the van was driving it today without the door trims fitted, also,I have an old home theatre speaker set in the garage could the subwoofer be driven by a car stereo,it is not mains powered,it would be handy if it works as it is fairly slim and fairly easy to hide, thanks

RE the home speakers.

Not recommend as the Ohms are different, and home speakers are not designed for being in the car (dampness etc)
