Started the fitting! I haven't used the PTFE stuff on the compression joints (as most people on here advised) but I did use it on the threads on the manifold where the blanking plug goes as they are just screw threads. Not tried it on gas yet but on compressed air I've got no leaks! Didn't see the reply about the copper olives before I started, but SWMBO is paranoid about the gas so I will be checking the connections regularly. Only got six to check so not too difficult.
