notice of intended prosecution.... That wont happen in the Van!

No? They will do a bit more than 30 mph you know (but are still crap )

I think it will be hard for me to break the speed limits on a 70mph dual carriage way (in my current van, not sure what the 1600td is like)

In the 30's I'm usually doing 20 anyway as all the side roads in Newcastle are hills!

Syncros are utter rubbish...dont get taken in by all those photo-shopped images Jed produces its all in his mind and his apple-mac; Jake started it when he pretended to go to Morocco a few years back; ever since then they have been out photo-shopping each other all over the net; got so bad one year jed gave jake a photo-shopped bloody nose; Jakes been his bitch ever since....truth is none of us get out from under our vans long enough to get a weekend away; more like a prison sentence than anything else .... crap!

like a prison sentence and a big fine and no remission for good conduct

Tell her you'll never be able to see her as you'll be finxing the van, and even when you do get together you'll have no money to go out and be too tired for anything else. That should up her game.......or maybe not

Breaking the limit (+ tolerance) on a 70 mph dual carriageway probnably won't happen ...but you'll be breaking it almost everywhere else.
Driving a puney 1600 cc diesel van is all about gathering and maintaining momentum you see ...speed limits very much get into the way of that
