leisure drive pop top gas struts

Hi All

I am slowly preparin my newly aquired leisuredrive pop top camper fr the warm season. One of the problems is that the struts on the pop top are shot - I think - they will lift it and hold it but its a bit loose and a good gust of wind wil start to blow it down again - not great when you lke camping in Pembrokeshire!!

Questions - is there a mechanical support as well as the struts? And where should I get replacment struts from. Does anyone tknow the spec on leisure drive struts - or will it be stamped on them?

have a good look at the struts, there is probably some specs on them, take them off and show them to your local motor factor(i used eu exhausts in norwich)they matched them for me for half the price wanted by jk. if not i bet they are the same as the devon ones, available from the usual suspects. good luck
