I thought it was only waterleakers that broke down

Truth is though that any engine is a wear item.

Alas it wasn't the engines fault... Driving with a snapped fan belt did it hehehe.

Got a minter here low mileage no cracks between the valves if needed all complete ready to bolt straight on

Is it leaking on nearside of engine bay and back around cylinders 3 & 4 ?

That's fairly typical.

Vid Not supported on the iPhone jed you should always carry spare belts dude rather you than me probably easier to drop the engine good luck with it

I havnt had a proper look yet but I did notice a slight hissing noise around where the water hose connects near the head and a bit of wet around the area.

Thanks for all the offers of new heads for sale everyone there seems to be quite a few minters on offer At least its not like a petrol if that goes when it could end up in a total engine replacement and £1000's..... A Diesel gasket is only thirty odd quid, and some new bolts and I can live with that

Really keen to have a go now, bloody shame I have to much work on to drop everything and have a day on the van
