fitting of electric fuel pump

Post by chriscburgess »

I have a 1.9dg fitted with lpg. I would like to fit an electric fuel pump as my existing pump appears knackered.

Can anyone please advise where and how to fit?

Also does the fact that i have lpg affect how the pump is wired?

and what pump would you recommend?

Many thanks
chris

Dead standard Pierburg mechanical petrol pump, why introduce something else to go wrong ?

Thanks Ian,

Not sure really! The existing pump is on its way out and it was suggested to me that an electric pump would be better - but what do i know?
