I'm looking to install a leisure Batt into my camper (as it does not already have one). There will in due course be many questions re charging off mains hook up etc. but for the time being I am looking for a steer on the most appropriate charge capacity.
As this will depend on my use I will detail my type of camping. Generally we are staying on sites with mains hook-up so no need for the batt there; but while traveling on the continent we will be using the Aires etc to over night and lights, radio and water pump etc would be nice.
We will occasionally be staying for a few nights without mains if circumstance dictates this.
I do not think that a huge batt is required was looking at approx 80 Ah.
any suggestions.

Re: Leisure battery capacity
As an alternative I used a starter battery (code 096) for exactly what you described, for a trip around Europe.
if you were staying put for more than three nights at a time then a leisure would be a better idea.
