URGENT PART NEEDED!!!!

Is there anyone out there who has, or can get their hands on, a power steering pump engine mounting bracket for a 1.6/1.9tdi???

If that's not hard enough I also need to get it to my parents in the New Forest by Wednesday morning so they can bring it out to me in Spain.

We're meant to be going on holiday on the 1st January so if someone is also willing to lend me the part please let me know. I'll return it in a couple of weeks time!!

Failing that, can anyone tell me its part no?

Hi Rob
That is a very common bracket.
It comes of AAZ,1Z or AHU engines without aircon.
I do have but not sure if i will be back at workshop tomorrow as i have been unwell for the past few days.

Thanks for letting me know. I hope your feeling better tomorrow. Mike in Bournemouth thinks he has the part and is getting back to me later today. If he hasn't would you be able to 48hr express courier it to me here in Spain? I guess it all depends on how well you feel.

I believe it's from a 1.9tdi Golf. Russel says it comes of AAZ,1Z or AHU engines without aircon.

For anyone thats interested you can still get the jx td pump bracket new from VW. Was quoted £47 which I thought was quite reasonable for a new part
