Had our first snow of the year last night.......A good inch!!!!
Silverbullet, you should of said "lot of snow outside the house this morning!"
Nice school that & you only have to see them at weekends, hmmmmm.... I wonder if J & A could get a syndrome!
Are you using a filter of some sort on pics 4 5 6 & 7 as the lighting / colour temperature makes very nice pictures
Thanks for that. The camera is a Panasonic Lumix 5 megapiel 4 year old compact that I always leave on auto mode, no flashy filters, just the beautiful sky of an early morning. I was up at 7am with all the excitement of the snow.

I am going to get the Lumix 10 with HD in the sales
I think that this sort of weather shows just how versatile the Syncro is, I most enjoy using her in this sort of condition rather than pure off roading. I feel that this sort of weather gives the Syncro a real head-start over all other vehicles and it is as capable as even the most modern Discovery TD6. The Syncro chassis with it's near perfect weight distribution means that braking and accelerating near the limit is a much safer prospect than in an open diff Landy. The open center diff is a nightmare on ice and means you are likley to spin out when accelerating hard. This is where the VC really comes into it's own giving a predictable and safe progression of power to where the grip is.
Here are some more photos (sorry) of my commute to work about 2 miles from my house. I have to have a play, and look forward to a challenging route home. Just flip the Webasto on half an hour before leaving and the engine temp is into the top end of the warm up zone, and the oil gets up to 40 degs in about a minute(because of the heat exchanger standard on syncro's).
