When I pressed the clutch pedal before turning the key today, I could hear a "pffft" sort of sound coming from below the instrument cluster. I'm guessing I have a leak of some sort....
Too dark to try and do anything tonight but any clues or pointers very much appreciated. I'm hoping its something as simple as a perished seal.
I'll take everything off tomorrow and have a look, but I can feel fluid round top of the pedals so I'm not overly happy at the moment. It's typical too - MOT day tomorrow. Been fine right up until today and used in the ice and snow no problems, but I guess something has burst or failed as the weather has warmed up again.

Re: Clutch cylinder air leak?
Sounds like air in the system
clutch master cylinders are easy to take out.... but hard to get back in I'm told.

Re: Clutch cylinder air leak?
Cheers Kev, it's definitely leaking something...
I think I might well wimp out and let my trusty garage have a look whilst it's there for its MOT. It's too cold and I'm not over confident about doing it myself - I'll only break something else probably
