Autosleeper trident high top bed removal?

Hi y'all i think i am missing something here but i cant get the sliding part of my top bunk out and down so i can refurb it. No matter what way i try i cant get the bloody thing out. Is there an easy way i have missed, please help????

I have tried to do the same with mine and could not get it out no matter how hard I tried,would be good to know if anyone has managed it

Hi all, managed to get mine out too, had a bit of a wrestle but it did come....don't fancy putting it back in though.

There must be a trick how did you pop it out, did you lift one side or did you swivel it round. I just gotta know...... :idea

OK
pull the bed forward till it's past the little lugs
lift the drivers side up
move it to the drivers side till it touches the hi top window
and it should drop down.

I had a go, even tried to poke one corner out of the tiny sliding window but the f***ker would not drop down. But then I got distracted by the fact the van wouldn't start! New battery required!

sunny day today and i got out there and managed to do it, i had to remove both curtain tracks on the sliding windowsin the roof, open both sliding windows and rotate the bed bunk until both corners were sticking out of both of the sliding windows and then when it was at right angles to how it started i could easily drop it out. I think most of the problem i could not do it as Kev said was because i have a cupboard in the roof on the drivers side and this along with the shape of the roof was not allowing me to push one side out. Anyway its out now :ok
