wbx bottom liner seal 1.9dg

hi there im just about to put my liners back on engine with new seals ,on my engine it is a 1.9 dg . been told to lighty grease the top sealing ring ie head gasket and also the green seal BUT do i grease the bottom black one dry or greased can anybody give me some advise cheers shaun

can't see that a small amount of lube would hurt , maybe engine oil, you are just trying to ease the thing into place without getting stuck, the o-ring is doing the sealing, the equivilent on the gearbox I oil freely when assembling
you just don't want to introduce anything into the engine that could block an oil way hence my suggestion of engine oil
