Arnt you tempted to put a full set of VDO gauges in there Nige to keep your eye on what that AAZ is up to?

They do a duel sender with two terminals, one goes to the BOD the other to the oil pressure gauge. You will need one of these for your plasma gauge if they wire in the same as the VDO ones.

Re: Oil Pressure senders
You should have a spare point with a plastic bung in on your oil filter housing on the AAZ.

Re: Oil Pressure senders
There looks like a screw in the opposite side to the sender that's just made for the sender for the plasma

Re: Oil Pressure senders
It cuts into the duct slightly but doesn't really do any harm. I like them down there I think they look good.

Re: Oil Pressure senders
028 919 081 D 0,25 bar blue in head
068 919 081 A 0.90 bar grey in oil filter housing or
068 919 081 1.4 bar black
I don't know why there are two different ones listed for JX filter housing, one of the diesel experts will know, probably best to go for lower one if bod an issue ?
if you wire the wire that would go to the high p sender to earth then bod will shut up, but if engine is dying you won't know till the low p sender goes which will be as the engine seizes
if wiring the sender wire to earth doesn't shut up the bod then you have a wiring fault not a op sender fault most likely

I have a blue sender on the oil filter that'll be a problem then, but then again i'm not 100% i have the right wire as it took me so long to fit the AAZ the labels fell off...

Blue wire goes to blue sender.
yellow goes to the other one, what ever it may be.
