Ha ha ha, all good points about the wood burner maybe ill just invest in some thicker jumpers and socks. As for the picture of the interior that looks spot on did you just change the fronts or did you fit everything from scratch? god i really hate going ikea though thats the only down side. cheers for the advice

All the units that i see either at ikea or wicks all the wall units are only standard 300mm deep, but the ones i have in my camper at the minute are 470mm and the sink and hob are 400mm so i wouldnt be able to re-fit them...

I understood it that you wanted to fit new units, not refit the old ones

No i mean to refit the sink and hob they wouldnt fit in a 300 unit, no point wasteing them as there alright, might go down the same route my mate is and build my own should be fun. cheers all

the ikea units are 600 deep, you just cut the back off to fit the profile of the van

The units I used are a mixture of base and wall units which are cut down/modified to fit. A heck of a lot easier than building from scratch,and look better. That lot cost me less than £150 and they are real wood veneer..

Like you say.. easier than making from scratch if your carpenteringley challenged (that's my word, I invented it )

Cool word Kev might have to use that one on site ha, all good points i have another weekend or two before i get started so plenty of time to plan, units does sound easier though, like what you have don with yours very smart dont think i could do it for £150 though all the base units ive seen are over £100 to start, where did you get yours?
