Square Headlamp

Post by cr9ig »

Hi, does anyone know of an alternative lamp that can be used as I'm having no luck finding an O/S lamp for my van, been busy renewing the brakes and suspension over the last while and am getting closer to the new year when it's time to get the van back on the road. If anybody has a suggestion for a replacement it would be very much appriciated or a spare lamp for sale, I may even be persuaded to part with a pair of opening front quarters that I've been hanging onto!

Thanks

Craig

There is no alternative for the large square headlamp they are unique to the T25, the inners were used on the old roccos though.

google found this

Not a bad price for a second hand one, way cheaper than eBay.

Hi Si,
I've been thinkin the same way, that a left hooker lamp with a beam bender is going to have to be the way to go for the time being, just thought I'd have one last go at trying to find a UK lamp.

Thanks

You'll have to fit a matched pair of LHD lights with benders on to get through a test, rather than just one
What a long strange trip it's been

cant see a problem with one lhd and one rhd lamp aslong as the image conforms with the mot layout which with a beam mask/bender it should.

have you read up on the maestro lamp conversion. maybe not what your after but could be an option.

If I remember correctly a while ago someone said you could fit an Austin maestro headlight. There was some fiddling. There was a picture on the post and it looked quite good.

Here you go

If you're better than the leading brand, why aren't you the leading brand?
